ACT 1 — THE PRESSURE BUILDS (0:00 – 12:00)
Flashback: Life of Christopher “Chris” Ayers before the Rift.
- A bright, deeply introspective teen obsessed with order and rules, constantly checking locks, rituals, and numbers.
- Lives under the strict rule of his father, Martin Ayers, a devout and rigid man who sees Chris’s rituals as weakness.
- On the night before the Rift: Chris performs his nightly handwashing ritual six times. His father interrupts and scolds him for being “possessed by obsession.” Chris cries himself to sleep.
- As he repeats the ritual in shame, the Rift energy pulses through him. His body twists. His thoughts multiply. The Repeater is born.
ACT 2 — OCD AT THE CENTER (12:00 – 25:00)
- CRC, daytime: Rose meets with Olivia Weddington, a 20-year-old struggling with OCD worsened by the Rift.
- Olivia describes her rituals—touching light switches, repeating door checks, needing symmetry, and intrusive thoughts of failure.
- Rose gently guides her through grounding strategies and reassures her.
Suddenly, Martin Ayers bursts in with Chris:
- “Fix him. He’s not right. This behavior is NOT welcome in our house.”
- Rose tries to de-escalate, but Martin insists: “When I return tomorrow, I want him cured.”
- After he storms off, Olivia whispers, “That’s my worst fear… not being accepted.”
- She offers Chris friendship and says: “Let’s be each other’s anchors.”
- Rose smiles and welcomes their shared progress.
ACT 3 — BREAKTHROUGH & BREAKDOWN (25:00 – 35:00)
- That evening, the Vital Five return to CRC after testing new ways to channel their powers to support healing.
- They’re excited—Vita demonstrates a new pulse therapy, Schema has a neural sync test, Pax tracks feedback loops.
- Meanwhile, Chris lies awake, his mind flooded with his father’s voice: “Weak. Flawed. A burden to this family.”
- He starts to repeat breathing, tapping, blinking patterns. Then he whispers, “I have to do it right… I have to get it right.”
The Rift energy in him activates fully.
ACT 4 — THE REPEATER RISES (35:00 – 45:00)
- Alarms blare at CRC.
- Dr. Ezra, Rose, and the Vital Five awaken.
- Captain Trask stumbles out in pink unicorn pajamas, holding a teddy bear: “Remain calm—I’ve got this.”
- Everyone pauses.
- Kairo: “Not now, Captain.”
- Dr. Ezra (groaning): “Trask, not the time.”
- Screams echo. Rose: “That’s Olivia!”
They arrive at her room. A huge mechanical being—The Repeater—stands over her.
- Kairo: “Where did this guy come from?!”
- Trask: “This is why I keep telling you we need better protocols!”
FIGHT SEQUENCE 1 — Repeater vs. Vital Five
- Repeater launches a shockwave.
- Pax and Kairo shield the group.
- Solace, Vita, and Schema attack but are thrown back.
- Repeater operates with flawless rhythm—same attack patterns over and over.
- Pax and Kairo analyze him.
- Pax: “He’s locked in a sequence—every six moves he repeats.”
- Kairo: “Let’s break the pattern.”
They force a misstep—Schema fires a disruptive pulse mid-cycle.
- Repeater short-circuits and freezes.
Schema approaches him and dives into his mind.
ACT 5 — INSIDE THE LOOP (45:00 – 52:00)
- Schema’s perspective: Inside Repeater’s mind.
- She sees Chris, surrounded by ghostly illusions of his father yelling.
- Chris repeats his rituals, begging for forgiveness.
- Schema tries to reach him: “You’re more than this loop.”
- Chris hesitates—then a ghostly father pushes her out.
- Schema gasps and says: “That’s Chris. He’s still in there.”
- Olivia steps forward: “Chris! We made a promise. We said we’d help each other.”
- Repeater pauses.
- “I’m sorry, Olivia. I let you down. But… it’s too late for me.”
He emits a pulse, then vanishes into the darkness.
ACT 6 — AFTERMATH (52:00 – 60:00)
- The next morning. Martin returns.
- “Where’s my son?”
- Olivia stands firm: “He’s gone—because of you.”
- Martin deflects: “This isn’t my fault.”
- Schema: “I saw inside him. Your voice is what broke him.”
- Rose: “Chris tried to be who you wanted. But what he needed was your acceptance.”
- Martin, shaken, breaks down. “I didn’t know… I didn’t know.”
- Olivia: “He’s not gone forever. But to help him, you need to change.”
Final scene:
- Martin joins a support group at CRC for families of those with OCD.
Cut to a rooftop, dark clouds swirling.
- Repeater stands alone: “I’m sorry, Olivia. I wasn’t enough.”
- His hand clenches. “But I can still be something. I can destroy the Vital Five.”
