ACT 1 — THE PRESSURE BUILDS (0:00 – 12:00)
Flashback: Before the Rift — Chris Ayers
We open with Christopher “Chris” Ayers, a brilliant, quiet teen obsessed with routines, order, and symmetry. He lives under the strict control of his father, Martin Ayers, a devout man who sees Chris’s compulsions as weakness.
We watch Chris in his day-to-day life—checking locks, washing his hands repeatedly, and performing precise actions to feel “right.” Each time he finishes a ritual, he feels brief relief—but it never lasts.
That night:
Chris performs his handwashing ritual for the sixth time. His father storms in.
Martin Ayers (furious): “You are weak, Chris. You can’t even control yourself. You’re a burden on this family.”
Chris (quietly, through tears): “I’m trying…”
That night, as Chris cries himself to sleep, the Rift energy surges through him. His mind snaps under the pressure—and Repeater is born: a Rift-being trapped in endless mental loops, trying to make sense of a world that never felt safe.
ACT 2 — OCD AT THE CENTER (12:00 – 25:00)
CRC, the next day:
Rose sits with Olivia Weddington, a young woman struggling with worsening OCD since the Rift.
Olivia describes her life: checking lights, touching switches, organizing things just right—over and over. She feels stuck and ashamed, lost in an endless cycle.
Olivia: “What if I never get better? What if I’m just… broken?”
Rose: “You’re not broken. You’re surviving something hard—and I’m here to help you through it.”
Suddenly, the door bursts open—Martin Ayers storms in, dragging Chris behind him. Chris is pale, jittery, and silent. Martin looks disgusted.
Martin: “Fix him. These rituals? They’re not welcome in my home.”
Rose (steady): “Chris needs support, not shame. This is real—and we can help. But only if you let us.”
Martin (coldly): “He’d better be cured by tomorrow.”
Martin storms out.
Olivia watches, clearly affected. She steps toward Chris and offers a gentle smile.
Olivia: “I know how this feels. You’re not alone. Let’s help each other, okay?”
Chris (hesitant): “I’ve tried… I can’t fix it.”
Olivia: “Then we won’t fix it alone. We’ll face it—together.”
Rose smiles quietly. The connection is fragile, but it’s real.
ACT 3 — BREAKTHROUGH & BREAKDOWN (25:00 – 35:00)
That evening, the Vital Five return to CRC, excited about their progress.
- Vita demonstrates a pulse-based therapy to sync and calm brainwaves.
- Schema introduces a neural sync system to regulate emotions.
- Pax is analyzing feedback loops to help Rift-affected patients recover faster.
Meanwhile, Chris lies awake. His father’s voice still echoes in his head:
“You’re weak. You’re a burden.”
He begins to panic. His rituals return—breathing patterns, tapping, blinking—spiraling faster and faster.
Chris (whispers): “I have to get it right… I have to get it right…”
The Rift energy within him explodes.
Repeater emerges—fully formed. A being of precision, symmetry, and mechanical fury.
ACT 4 — THE REPEATER RISES (35:00 – 45:00)
Alarms blare throughout CRC.
The team scrambles from their rooms as the building shakes. In the chaos, Captain Trask appears—in unicorn pajamas, holding a teddy bear.
Captain Trask (half-asleep): “Remain calm—I’ve got this.”
Kairo: “Not helping, Captain.”
Screams ring out.
Rose: “That’s Olivia!”
They race to Olivia’s room—only to find her cornered by a massive, glitching figure of gears and shadows: Repeater.
Kairo: “Where did he come from?!”
Trask: “This is exactly why I keep asking for better security protocols!”
FIGHT SEQUENCE — Repeater vs. Vital Five (45:00 – 52:00)
Repeater attacks in perfect rhythm, his moves repeating every six beats.
The team is thrown back again and again by the force of his precision. He seems unstoppable.
Pax (analyzing): “It’s a loop—every six moves, he restarts the sequence!”
Kairo: “Then let’s break it.”
Schema targets the weak point in the cycle. She times a pulse just right—freezing Repeater mid-move.
Schema: “He’s glitching. I can get inside his mind!”
ACT 5 — INSIDE THE LOOP (52:00 – 57:00)
Schema enters Repeater’s mind.
Inside, it’s a cold, echoing space filled with the voice of Martin Ayers, shouting over and over:
Martin (memory): “You’re nothing. You’ll never be enough.”
Chris stands alone, overwhelmed and ashamed.
Schema: “Chris, you don’t have to live in this loop. You’re more than the fear. More than the rituals.”
Chris starts to reach out—but a shadow of his father shoves Schema out.
Schema (gasping): “He’s still in there…”
Olivia steps forward, her voice shaking but strong.
Olivia: “Chris! You promised we’d help each other. Don’t leave me now.”
Repeater (softly): “I’m sorry… I let you down.”
A pulse of white energy explodes from him. When the light fades—he’s gone.
ACT 6 — AFTERMATH (57:00 – 60:00)
The next morning:
Martin Ayers returns, stern and demanding.
Martin: “Where’s my son?”
Olivia (firm): “He’s gone—because of what you did.”
Martin (defensive): “This isn’t my fault.”
Schema: “I saw inside him. Your words are what broke him.”
Rose: “Chris tried to be what you wanted. What he needed was love.”
Martin finally breaks—his facade cracking for the first time.
Martin (quietly): “I didn’t know… I didn’t know.”
Olivia: “He’s not gone forever. But if you want to help him, you’ll need to change.”
Final scene:
Martin sits in a CRC support group, surrounded by other parents. He’s vulnerable—but trying.
Cut to a rooftop at night. Storm clouds swirl. Repeater stands alone, glitching in and out like a broken machine.
Repeater (Chris): “I’m sorry, Olivia. I wasn’t enough…”
His fist clenches.
Repeater: “But I can still be something. I’ll end the Vital Five.”
End of Episode.
