ACT 1 — TORN FROM FAMILY (0:00 – 10:00)
Flashback: Talia Reyes Before the Rift
Talia Reyes is an EMT, calm under pressure, brilliant and deeply compassionate—a devoted wife, mother, and healer.
Then, the unthinkable. While transporting a critical patient, Talia’s ambulance crashes. The patient dies. Her daughter Sophia survives—but with permanent injuries.
Talia’s world crumbles. Her family pleads with her to stay close, but the guilt is too great. She believes her presence brings only pain. She distances herself, takes a night job at a warehouse, and spirals further into isolation.
In a moment of collapse—alone in the warehouse, hands shaking—the Rift strikes. Trauma becomes energy. Guilt becomes force. Blast is born, raw and unstable—a reflection of Talia’s internal explosion, her grief, rage, and fear made manifest.
ACT 2 — ADVOCACY & WARNING SIGNS (10:00 – 20:00)
Downtown Serenvale:
Kairo, Solace, and Schema pass a street protest. A man shouts into a megaphone.
Man (firmly): “Support trauma survivors! They need us now more than ever!”
It’s Dante Reyes, Talia’s brother. He hasn’t seen her since the Rift.
Dante: “I thought if I kept showing up… she’d find me again.”
Kairo puts a steadying hand on his shoulder.
Kairo: “If she’s out there, we’ll help you bring her home.”
CRC Lobby: Later That Day
Chaos. A crowd surges with confusion and terror—people collapsing, crying, panicking. Rose and Dr. Ezra work to contain the emotional storm.
Rose (calmly): “Deep breaths. We’re here to help.”
Kairo scans the room.
Kairo: “This isn’t random. Something’s triggering them.”
Schema reads her device.
Schema: “Energy spikes. Centered around one site—a warehouse.”
Dante (whispers): “That’s where Talia worked. Where everything broke.”
His voice cracks. He’s trembling.
Rose (softly): “Then that’s where we’ll go.”
Kairo (resolute): “We find her. And we bring her back.”
ACT 3 — THE HAUNTED SECTOR (20:00 – 35:00)
At the Warehouse:
Kairo, Schema, Rose, and Dante arrive. The manager meets them, clearly shaken.
Manager (nervously): “Sector D. That’s where it happens. Panic. Screams. Shadows. People quit. Some just vanish.”
Inside Sector D, the air feels wrong—dense with grief, like the walls are holding in screams.
Rose (tense): “Residual trauma. Echoes… it’s feeding on the pain.”
Dante (quietly): “This is where she lost herself.”
Suddenly, Rose collapses, clutching her head, screaming.
Rose: “GET OUT! GET OUT!”
Dante panics and lashes out—blaming Kairo for drawing him into this.
Dante (furious): “You did this! You brought me here!”
Kairo (grappling with him): “Dante—stop! I’m trying to help!”
A blast of heat erupts above them, light warping, sound bending. A figure descends in a flare of distortion and pain.
Blast (Talia): “You dare enter my domain?”
FIGHT SEQUENCE — Kairo & Schema vs. Blast (35:00 – 50:00)
Blast’s presence warps reality, her grief and guilt tearing space like paper.
- Kairo tries to ground himself, breathing deeply—but Blast’s chaotic energy overwhelms his calm.
- Schema sets up containment fields—they shatter under the pressure of raw emotion and trauma-flashes.
Blast (screaming): “You want to fix me?! I am the broken!”
Her power surges—explosions of memory, images of Sophia screaming, the crash, blood.
Kairo and Schema sync their strategy: breath and logic, stillness and code. For a moment, Blast falters. But only for a moment.
Blast (roaring): “You won’t take him! I won’t be left alone again!”
ACT 4 — BROTHER’S PLEA (50:00 – 55:00)
Rose stirs. Dante breaks free from Schema’s hold, stepping forward.
Dante (desperate): “Talia?”
Blast flickers. Her face contorts—anger, confusion, heartbreak.
Blast (shaking): “I hear them. The screams. I see them. I can’t go back.”
Dante (gently): “Then don’t go back. Just come forward. To me.”
He steps into her blast radius.
Blast (voice cracking): “I’ll hurt you. I’ll ruin you too.”
Dante: “Then ruin me. I’m not leaving. Not this time.”
Her powers surge—then collapse. She lets out a final scream, a shockwave of grief, and the world goes white.
ACT 5 — FADING LIGHT (55:00 – 58:00)
CRC Med Bay:
The team slowly regains consciousness.
Dr. Ezra: “Warehouse manager found you unconscious. You’ve been out for hours.”
Dante bolts upright.
Dante: “Where’s Talia?!”
Kairo (gently): “She’s alive. But still lost in it. We’ll find her again.”
Dante (tearfully): “Then next time… I’ll be ready. I’ll be the one who stays.”
EPILOGUE — THE GATHERING STORM (58:00 – 60:00)
In a dark Rift chamber, Blast kneels, eyes burning.
Blast (bitter): “They tried to take my brother. I want revenge.”
From the shadows steps Oblivion, cold and calculating.
Oblivion: “Then you shall have it.”
Around her, villains gather:
- Fracta
- The Hollow
- Gravemind
- Cyclone
- EchoMind
- The Repeater
- Scatter
They encircle Blast like a ritual.
Oblivion (softly): “The time has come… to break the cure.”
